Good post Martin. Your point about the branding color applying to more than just the logo is a powerful one. Recently a new company opened up in our neighborhood, and they've really gone to town on the branding. Everything is color co-ordinated, from cars to uniforms to buildings to stationery. It's refreshing to see such consistency. And it helps that they kept the color palette to just 2 colors with an accent.
